Autocaster Ultra Continuous Casting Systems

Application: Automated, continuous casting for cast polymer and other composites manufacturing.

The Autocaster Ultra continuous casting machine automates the production of polymer matrix for cast polymer manufacturing, replacing manual mixing methods with the automated, continuous casting capability – using recipes stored on the system. The Autocaster UltraÔäó continuous casting machine automates the production of polymer matrix for cast polymer manufacturing. Replacing manual mixing with the Autocaster UltraÔäó can significantly increase productivity, cut material cost and improve quality – all leading to increased profits for the manufacturer.

Additional metering hoppers can be added to the Autocaster Ultra to increase the capability and capacity of the system (shown on top of the machine at left)

Features:

Up to 60 lbs./min. matrix production; new 80 lbs./min. high-output option.
Recipe based matrix control with on-the-fly adjustments for resin %, catalyst % and matrix output. Up to 100 recipes can be stored.
Password protected control panel with color display gives access to all functions including metering calibration, recipe definition, totals, diagnostics, alarms, setup and cleaning.
Integrated resin heating system.
High efficiency mixer with hardened steel mixing auger.
Modular base-color systems with removable base color pumps.
Totalizer for all raw materials (except contrast color)
Precision gear pumps for resin, catalyst and base-color
Accurate, solid-core filler metering augers with integrated anti-bridging devices
